Bin Jalawi Meets with President of World Triathlon

His Highness Prince Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaad, Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, President of the Saudi Olympic Academy, and President of the Asian Triathlon Confederation, met on Tuesday with Mr. Antonio Arimany, President of World Triathlon.

The meeting was also attended by Mishaal Al-Sulaiman, President of the Saudi Triathlon Federation, during Arimany’s visit to Riyadh to take part in the Olympic Studies Diploma program organized by the Saudi Olympic Academy in cooperation with the International Olympic Academy.

The meeting focused on exploring ways to enhance cooperation between the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and World Triathlon, as well as supporting the Academy’s programs in the areas of training, empowerment, and the development of specialized triathlon professionals.

Discussions also included potential future partnerships with the Asian Triathlon Confederation and coordination efforts to expand the sport’s grassroots base in the region and increase Asian participation in continental and international competitions.
Mr. Arimany praised Saudi Arabia’s efforts in advancing Olympic sports and highlighted the role of the Saudi Olympic Academy in preparing qualified sports professionals in line with the highest international standards.
